Fr Tong strived to develop a theology and philosophy of good health. “The right to health calls our att enti on to the obligati on of seizing every opportunity of growing into a high degree of wellness. He believed that the right to health will remain ineff ectual unless we recognize health not merely as a passive happening but as a goal to be zealously pursued. For him the enti re environment in which we live and work aff ects our health.
